About me

My name is Alejandro Cámara Iglesias and I am a vocational physicist. I was born in Alicante where I grow up. I moved to Madrid to study physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After that was the Master Degree in Fundamental Physics with special interest in advanced optics courses. Right now I’m researcher assistant and I want to read my PhD thesis somewhere in the near future.

My professional career started with a small work on holography with Prof. Tatiana Alieva around 2007. We moved fast to other topic: optical beam characterization (amazing, isn’t it?). From there was born my first publication  and my Master Thesis. Right now I’m still working on beam characterization, fighting to get what will result in my PhD thesis.

In my spare time I like to design and program casual video games. I’m still pretty bad at it, but I hope to improve eventually. You can play some of my creations from my gamdev page.
